Change the language in Gnome

To change the Gnome language just execute the following command. What it does is a reconfiguration of the locales package.
This will install the desired language(s).
dpkg-reconfigure locales

After a reboot chose the new language at the left bottom of the login screen. You can already select it right now but you will get an error message when you log in and the language will not be available.
